Capital Markets Analyst - Associate

EverWest is
 seeking an Associate to join the Capital Markets team.  The position will support the head of capital markets and will be involved in all aspects of the firm’s financing activities.  The position requires a variety of skills and the ideal candidate will have some work experience in real estate, banking, finance or law.  The position if full time and will be based in our Denver, Colorado office.
Responsibilities
  • Abstract and onboard newly originated loans.
  • Liaise with Asset Management and Legal teams to respond to day-to-day questions and resolve potential issues.
  • Prepare lender required compliance reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Respond to inquiries from lenders, investors and auditors.
  • Assist Accounting Department with bank related issues.
  • Update debt fair market value models.
  • Work with Acquisitions team to produce due diligence for debt originations.
  • Update company and investor presentations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Highly organized, self-starter who can execute responsibilities with minimal oversight.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, quantitative and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and comprehend legal documents including loan documents and leases.
  • Working knowledge of commercial real estate finance.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of prior real estate, banking, finance or legal experience.

If employed in Colorado, the salary for this position generally ranges between $80,000 and $100,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.  Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the stated range based on various factors including, among other factors, location, education and training, experience, internal pay alignment, and performance.  A potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.  Many candidates’ compensation will start in the bottom half of the stated range.  This role is also eligible to participate in a merit-based annual bonus award.
