EverWest Real Estate Investors, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of GWL Realty Advisors, is a real 
estate investment and operating company based in Denver, Colorado, whose goal is to create 
significant value for investors through a combination of capital appreciation, strategic 
acquisition, development, capitalization, repositioning, and management of commercial real estate 
assets.
Position Summary:

This position will report to the Manager of Corporate Accounting. The Senior Corporate Accountant 
will support the Corporate Accounting team through preparation of full‐cycle general ledger journal 
entries and month‐end account reconciliations.

Primary Responsibilities:
▪    Support the Corporate Accounting Manager through preparation and review of 
full‐cycle general ledger journal entries and month‐end account reconciliations
▪    Responsible for closing multiple corporate entities on a monthly basis
▪    Review ledger detail, complete variance analysis, and prepare supporting schedules 
for month‐end close
▪    Post cash entries and reconcile bank accounts
▪    Complete monthly billings for asset management fees and additional internal 
billings
▪    Work with the Property Accounting team to ensure accurate reporting related to 
property management fees
▪    Review and ensure that payroll is properly posted to the accounting system
▪    Treasury responsibilities including communicating directly with banks regarding 
new bank account setup, closing bank accounts and establishing users in online banking portals
▪    Manage cash flow and be responsible for funding requests
▪    Perform periodic audits of user access and transaction limits for EverWest bank 
accounts
▪    Involvement in the daily operations of the company and suggest improvements to the 
current accounting and reporting processes
▪    Assist with continuous improvement of processes, policies, controls, 
documentation, and ad‐hoc projects

Qualifications:
▪    Bachelor’s degree required; accounting/finance majors and CPA preferred
▪    Minimum 2 years of commercial real estate accounting experience
▪    Investment accounting and corporate accounting experience preferred
▪    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
▪    Ability to multi‐task, with attention to detail and an ability to work both 
independently and in a team environment
▪    Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; MRI accounting 
software or equivalent experience with enterprise accounting systems

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position generally ranges between $70,000 and $90,000. This range is an 
estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations 
permitted by law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the stated range based on 
various factors including, among other factors, location, education and training, experience, 
internal pay alignment, and performance. A potential new employee’s salary history will not be used 
in compensation decisions. Many candidates’ compensation will start in the bottom half of the 
stated range. This role is also eligible to participate in a merit‐based annual bonus program, 
health, vision, and dental insurance plans, long and short‐term disability, 401K plan, and PTO.
