As Chief Legal Officer, Mike oversees EverWest’s enterprise legal function, manages outside counsel relationships and provides strategic direction on key contract negotiations, fiduciary, risk and government matters.   Mike is a member of EverWest’s Executive Leadership Team and Investment Committee. 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

  • 15 years in commercial real estate legal matters and investments, including development, structured finance, corporate transactions, and joint ventures.  Served as General Counsel of McWhinney, a real estate firm with commercial, hospitality, and residential platforms.   Prior to that, he was Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at Vail Resorts, covering global mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, and land use approvals.
